Project Green Teams

Working on global energy challenges through

local, school-based, and community

action.

Project Green Teams is an educational initiative that raises energy

awareness, encouraging students and others to think critically

about energy and make informed decisions that will save energy
and money in their communities.

Currently in its third year, Project Green Teams is a grant funded

project administered by Community Energy Services in

partnership with Clarkson and St. Lawrence Universities’ K-12

Project Based Learning Partnership Program, and NYSERDA’s
Energy Smart Schools & Energy Smart Students Programs.

Project Green Teams has worked with student groups in Canton,

Colton-Pierrepont, Ogdensburg, Heuvelton, Potsdam, and

Madrid-Waddington school districts.
