Once young people learn accurate information about their environment and see how they can make a difference; they can take positive action to shape the future of the planet.
What is the purpose of PGTs?
Project Green Teams is an educational initiative that raises energy awareness, encouraging students to think critically about energy and make informed decisions that will save energy and money in their homes, schools and communities.
What are some possible PGT activities?
School and Home Energy audits, Field-trips or special speakers, Local Recycling campaigns, Renewable Energy Demonstration Projects (such as making solar ovens & model wind turbines), Hands-on science activities, and Recyclable Art activities.
What is the cost of having a PGT program at my school,library or youth group meeting?
These programs are free and we supply all the materials. All we ask is that the teacher, librarian, or youth leader be present.
