YEEE (Youth Energy and Environmental Expo)
The culmination of Project Green Teams activities each year is the Youth Energy and Environmental Expo (YEEE)
YEEE takes place at the Miller Campus Center on the SUNY Canton college campus on the Friday preceding the North Country Sustainable Energy Fair.
This year on Friday, April 24 2009, over two hundred students, teachers, parents and community members attended the annual Youth Energy and Environmental Expo to showcase, judge or view the over 60 projects that addressed energy conservation or alternative energy sources. Nearly 170 students entered individual and group exhibits competing for cash prizes. All participating students received a pair of Native American plum trees thanks to a generous donation by the St. Lawrence Nurseries in Potsdam and were entertained by the environmental theater group Quiet Riot.
YEEE is jointly coordinated by Clarkson University Office of Educational Partnerships and Community Energy Services.
